Thank you for
considering purchasing one or more of our maples. We endeavor to select and sell only the
finest, unusual and rare maples. We are different that other Internet or
Mail Order Nurseries as we ship each maple in its container - in other words we
do not ship bare root. The cost of shipping therefore is more, but our repeat
customers do not mind the few extra dollars for shipping.
Our standard shipping agent is FedEx and thus far they have done a good job in not only on time delivery, but also careful handling of our beautiful maples. We ship every Monday and FedEx has home delivery on Saturday which means if we ship to the East Coast on Monday, it will be delivered that Saturday. If you chose to have a different shipping agent, please call me - Sam. We will not ship plants during the coldest winter storms. When severe weather strikes in your area, please let us know. Your plants will be selected and tagged with your name and held until you say it is OK. The same scenario applies to the hottest weather - we evaluate each shipment on a case by case as to whether or not to ship.
For all orders with Eastfork Nursery, I [Sam I am] personally select and pack each of your maples. Please be careful when unwrapping them. If you have any damage please notify me ASAP. I guarantee my maples will arrive in good condition, even after 7 days in transit or I will replace the maples. This is my commitment to providing only the finest maples to each and every customer.
